I can't believe this day has come. Emily is almost 16 years old and it is time for her to have her own car. She has been driving with us since January of last year and doing great! In just a few months, she'll be taking her test. It's funny, I still picture her more like the little girl next to the big blue plastic car we got her at Kid-to-Kid in Apex.
She sure did love that little car...and I think she really loves her new Hyundai Elantra hybrid, too. She loves being able to listen to her own music and set her seat exactly how she likes it. She also loves the great gas mileage. We had to drive to Pittsburgh to get it, but it was worth it to see how much she loves it. I hope it helps keep her safe out there.
