Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party #3

Yep, that's right.  Back to the Halloween party!  Our first stop on this trip, was a special Halloween character greeting with Stitch!  We had to wait a little while, but it was  worth it!

Staying in Tomorrowland, we also hit up the People Mover,Buzz Lightyear and Space Mountain (of course).

   

Then it was time for the Halloween dessert party!  Our favorite way to close out a Disney trip.  We love sitting at Tomorrowland Terrace and watching the fireworks...and eating.  Did I mention eating?  We love all the desserts.

We were absolutely exhausted, but even after desserts and fireworks we still weren't finished.  Next stop - Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (to kill the ride photo).

We had big aspirations of spending more time at the party and staying for the 11:00 parade, but alas we were just too tired.  But we definitely packed  a lot into this trip and we had no regrets. Even as  I  was  dropping over half-dead in the bed that night, I  couldn't help but start dreaming about our next trip back "home." 

Hollywood Studios & Star Wars Galaxy's Edge

Early up!  We were off to Extra Extra Magic Hours (6:00 a.m.) at Hollywood Studios in hopes of getting in to see Star Wars Galaxy's Edge and ride the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run.  Galaxy's Edge had only been open a couple of weeks so we were worried about the crowds. 

It was still pretty dark when we arrived.

But when we arrived we got right in and the wait for Smuggler's  Run was only 30 minutes. When we got off it was even shorter so we rode twice!

We took our time walking through the land and seeing all the sights...and stopping for a few pictures.

   

   

   

There was so much to see it was really hard to decide which pictures to include. Galaxy's Edge is really all consuming and  feels very much like stepping right into a Star Wars movie.  There are even Storm Troopers walking around...even an occasional Kylo Ren sighting.  It's very cool.

  

 

As cool as Galaxy's Edge was, we wanted to use our Extra Extra Magic Hours to do some other things too.  So we headed off to Toy Story Land and grabbed a quick breakfast at Andy's Lunch Box - Nutella stuffed french toast with tater tots.  Oh so good! 

Then we hit the rides. First stop, Slinky Dog!!  This one is so hard to get a Fastpass for, so we haven't ridden it very many times.  But with shorter lines, we got to ride!

We also got to ride Toy Story Mania and Alien Swirling Saucers before Extra Extra Magic Hours ended and the park opened to the public.  So, so worth getting up early! 

After fun in Toy Story Land, it was time for some old familiar favorites, including Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster!

Then it was time for lunch at Sci-Fi Diner.  I like this place because, believe it or not, it is kind of dark and quiet.  Things move a little slower here and you can relax and catch your breath a little.

After lunch we had a little more energy left so we headed back to Galaxy's Edge so Daniel and Emily could play more of the interactive games they had in the land.  It was really very neat.  There were things you could scan and codes you could  enter to interact with the ships and cargo and other things in the land.  The little App would  also give you jobs to complete in the land and you could decide whether work for the First Order or the Resistance. Emily worked for the Resistance(good guys). Daniel worked for the First Order.  

 

   

We finally just got too hot and way to tired to keep going so we opted to head back to Bay Lake and rest because guess where we were headed tonight?????????  One guess...

Magic Kingdom

Today was our full Magic Kingdom day and we made the most of it.  We started out spending some time playing Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom.  We even did a little card trading up at Town Square and got a few cards we needed for our set.

  

While we enjoyed the game we made several stops for attractions that we don't always do - like Mickey's PhilharMagic, the carousel and we swung by Rapunzel's tower too.

   

Then it was time for lunch...at Be Our Guest of course.  For the first time, we got a table in the West Wing.  It was a little dark, but still a neat experience.

   

After lunch, we hit up a few more Fantasyland attractions including the Little Mermaid and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

   

We also used our Fastpass for Splash Mountain!  No matter how many times we ride, it's always fun...and I always take a load of pictures.  We gave Emily the side that got extra wet. #parentingwin

 

Before heading out for the day, we made a stop through Tomorrowland for another ride on Buzz, Space Mountain and People Mover!

   

Then it was time for a short rest before heading into Epcot for the Frozen Dessert Party and more Disney fun!  You might be asking "why so many trips to Epcot?"  Well, if you want to know the truth, we were trying to check in 4 times to earn a set of coasters.  HA!  So off we went.

   

We managed to sneak in  a couple of rides before we had to head off to the Frozen party. We got to ride Test Track, Spaceship Earth and even  Soarin' (which almost made us late for the Frozen party).

   

Then it was time for desserts and fireworks!  The weather was perfect so we got seats outside right on the water.  The party was extra special for us this time because it was our last time to see Illuminations.  The new fireworks show, Epcot Forever, will be running when we are back in December.

   

   

Finally, before calling it a night, the last perk of the dessert party is to get to ride Frozen Ever After (after the park is closed).
