There was mass chaos in Raleigh yesterday as we were told to expect as much as 10 inches of snow, sleet and ice. Luckily they totally missed the forecast and we ended up with about 3 inches (maybe) of mostly sleet mixed with some snow. We took Emily outside for her first adventure in the snow today. She really liked it. She seemed to equate snow and sand so she took her buckets and shovels outside and went to town. She even helped Daddy shovel the drive way. We plan to take her out for a little while again this afternoon. She LOVED her snow boots and snow pants and it took me about an hour to get her to let me take them off after we came inside. Cute.
