Christmas #1 - At our house

We celebrated Christmas at our house a week early since Daniel had to work on Christmas again this year. So we had Christmas Eve on December 18. We helped Emily write a letter to Santa, leave out milk and chocolate candy cane cake for Santa and hang up the stockings.
She was very excited. As you can see from the pictures, she must have been on Santa's "nice" list because he brought many presents, including a brand new pink doll house with lots of accessories. Good thing Santa can accomodate some early Christmas stops in his very busy schedule.

On Christmas morning, the first thing Emily asked was whether Santa had come to fill the stockings. It was really cute. When she came down stairs and found all the gifts she looked a little overwhelmed at first, but settled in very quickly and began tearing into everything in sight! Other gifts received included, some new clothes, shoes, books, Dora the Explorer toys, a Viewmaster, Mickey Book and play accessories, and a Little Einstein Rocket. Santa even managed to locate the "pink stick" Emily asked for - in the form of a small pink kalidescope! I would say Christmas at home was a huge success.
