Typically after lunch in our villa, we spent 30-45 minutes of "quiet time" in our rooms to rest and let our lunch settle and then it was time for the pool. This year we made our rounds to all three pools. Gratefully, her favorite pool is still the Woodsy pool. It's my favorite too. Woodsy also has the water slide which I think probably plays into what makes Woodsy our favorite.
She also spent some time at the waterfall pool because she liked going under and through the waterfall. Having the mermaid tail with her made it that much more fun.
One afternoon, at Woodsy pool, they had a little rubber duck race to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network. So we bought a couple of little ducks and then they took all the ducks to the top of the slide and dumped them out. The first duck to cross the finish line at the bottom of the slide, wins. They played 5 times and amazingly enough, Emily's duck actually won one of the races! She was thrilled and it was super fun.
