Jack Skellington this year!

I am so glad we had tickets for the party tonight since the weather was so uncooperative on Tuesday.  Tonight the weather was perfect and the crowds were not too bad.  We started our fun with a few rides before the party actually started.  First stop - Haunted Mansion.

   

Then we made a quick stop in Adventure Land to ride the Magic Carpets!

You can't see the whole outfit here, but Emily wanted to go as Pusheen.  So she wore a grey tank, grey ears and an adorable Pusheen skirt.  Pretty creative and super cute.

   

We still had a little more time before the party started so we also had time for a ride on Splash Mountain and Buzz Lightyear too!

   

Finally, it was time for the party to begin!  YAY!

We learned years earlier that if we wanted to see the Boo to You Parade we had to get seats almost as soon as the party started - so that is what we did.  Molly and I saved seats on Main Street and the boys took Emily and Abby to ride Space Mountain (in total darkness just during the party).

Our seats for the 8:30 parade were not terrific because of the lighting for photos, but we did have a great view of the castle. 

    

   

We decided almost immediately that we would definitely be staying for the 11:00 parade too so we could get better seats.  But, before the late parade we got to go to the Happy Hallowishes Dessert Party.  This has become kind of a tradition for us on the last night of our trip and I love it!

   

   

  

With full tummies, it was time to head back to Main Street to get a better spot for the parade.  This time we headed for the top of Main Street with a view straight down to the castle.  Way better seats and way better lighting.  And wow what a difference!  Love this parade!

It was an incredible night at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, but after the parade we were completely exhausted.  But, if you're not exhausted at the end of the day, you're not really doing Disney.
