Ear Piercing Day!

Well, maybe a day of big roller coasters gives Emily nerves of steel.  We headed out to The Greene on the Sunday before Memorial Day to do a little shopping.  No surprise, we ended up at Justice and Claire's.  As usual, I asked Emily if she wanted to get her ears pierced.  Fully expecting the usual "no", this time she responded with "maybe."  We wandered around a little longer, through a few more stores and even stopped for an Auntie Anne's pretzel.  Then, it was time.  We went back to the store, filled out the papers and just a few minutes later, BAM!  Earrings!  She even opted to have them both done at the same time.  She never cried, just looked a little shaken at first.  She said it didn't hurt too much and then we spent the next 20 minutes shopping for earrings!  She had a great day! #tweenyears
