Disney 2020

This was a tough decision.  We debated for quite some time before deciding to go ahead with our planned Disney trip.  Many things at Disney were still closed due to Covid including a lot of restaurants, some entertainment and all of the usual Halloween festivities.   This meant no dessert parties, no parades, no fireworks, no shows and all of the parks were also operating on reduced hours.  But the trade off was supposed to be that the crowds would be smaller and you would get to experience more of what was still operating - like most of the rides.  In the end, West Virginia was experiencing a spike in cases and Florida was on a decline so we decided to go.

For the first time in forever, our flights were all on time!  We arrived in time to grab our rental car, get a few groceries and still be able to check into Bay Lake Tower and have dinner (and more importantly cupcakes) at Contempo Cafe - our favorite!  I LOVE being "home."
