Epcot 2021

Today was our first full day at Disney and we were off to Epcot.  But, since Epcot did not open until 11am, we had time to head over to the Polynesian and have breakfast at Kona Cafe.  Tonga Toast for everyone!  Tonga Toast is a deep fried French toast casserole stuffed with caramelized bananas and topped with cinnamon sugar.  So good!

   

We arrived at Epcot about 30 minutes before opening and headed straight for Test Track (back seat photo not ideal).

   

Then we were off for a tour Around the World.  First stop - Mexico!  From there we headed to Norway to see Frozen.

    

On our way we had a sighting of Anna and Elsa!

   

   

On our way around the world we visited China, Germany, Italy and Japan.

   

   

   

During our travels, we also got to see Jasmine just outside Morocco, Belle just outside of France and Snow White near Great Britain.

   

Then we decided to try out the new Skyliner.  From Epcot you could ride all the way over to The Riviera Resort, so that is what we did.  It was fun and not quite as hot inside the gondolas as I thought it might be.

   

   

When we returned from our trip over to The Riviera, we stopped for a snack in Canada.  Then we were off to Future World for rides on Soarin', Living with the Land, Seas with Nemo, Spaceship Earth and we even tried out Journey into Imagination with Figment (which I definitely would not recommend).

  

   

Then it was time for dinner in Italy at Via Napoli.  Emily was thrilled because she got her Margarita pizza.  I had really good pasta and Daniel got chicken parmesan.

Then it was time to wind down our night with a few last minute photo ops on the way out of the park.  We were pretty tired so we decided to watch the Magic Kingdom Happily Ever After Fireworks from Bay Lake Tower...that also meant we got cupcakes from Contempo.  Pretty sweet way to end our night.
