Growing Up at BCS

It turns out that 8th grade has really brought on quite a few changes for Emily.  Everything from tackling virtual honors geometry, to new friends, to trying to get out into the world a bit and grow up.  This fall she asked to go to a couple of her school soccer games.  I'm fairly certain there is a special boy behind some of these requests (which Emily denies), but hey, that's part of growing up too, I guess.  I did get to go to one of the soccer games and get a few pics.  This was the 8th grade recognition game and BCS won so that was fun.

   
Emily and crew also wanted to go to a high school football game up at George Washington High School. This was quite a shocker to me.  But, her little group was insistent and there were a couple brave parents willing to go along, so off they went.  Unfortunately it rained almost the entire game and by the time Emily got home, she was drowned.  But, she claimed it was fun, soooo....
The kids also enjoyed had the chance to celebrate Brennan's birthday and go to a haunted house/farm again this year.  This time it did NOT rain and they had a blast!
