Senior Homecoming

This was Emily's senior homecoming.  It has taken some effort, but she finally has a good group of friends that she can run around with.  The fun started on Friday afternoon with the girls getting together to make bouquets and then heading to the homecoming football game.

   

GW did not win the football game, but by all accounts, the kids had a great time.

   

Then on Saturday, the kids went to the big dance.  This year, the dance was at the University of Charleston in the ballroom so it was a much nicer venue than some prior years.  Emily's group had 8 this year and they all met at UC for pictures and then dinner at Sitar of India.

   

   

   

   

Here is the crew from left to right: Kian, Kenneth (also pictured with Emily, below), Riya, Jay Mehta, Iqraa, Jay Edison, Em and Ely.  Not pictured: Charlotte.  She had to miss the dance at the last minute.  Emily was sad.  She missed her.

   

   

After the dance, the kids all went bowling.  Emily said this was the best dance of all four years - I guess they saved the best for last.
