Buddy Bear Field Trip

This was Emily's first real field trip in Kindergarten where the kids got to leave school, on a school bus, and go somewhere.  This trip was to Build A Bear.  The kids go to go make a class bear, named Buddy. They voted on which bear to choose and what clothes the bear would get (there were girl and boy choices).  Then the kids all got to help build him. 

They all put in a heart.

After the bear was fully constructed, Buddy was loaded up in a box to come back to the classroom.  Then, each week, a new child gets to take Buddy home and write about his adventures.  Before the kids headed out from the mall, they went up to the food court for lunch at Chick-Fil-A.  I think they
had a really, really good time.
