Myrtle Beach 2016 (Broadway at the Beach)

June 11-17, 2016

It really can't be a trip to Myrtle Beach without a visit to Broadway at the Beach.  Emily is starting to outgrow many of the rides there (and even as I type this I cannot believe it).  Her very first ride ever was on the little boats and I remember hoping she would not stand up  and try to get out.  Now at nearly 9 years old, she is too big for the little boats and several other rides too.  Luckily for this mommy, we still found a few she could ride and really liked.

Ah the carousel.  Never too old for the carousel.  Ever.

  

Following all the rides and fun, we sat down to a nice family dinner at Landry's.  Emily likes to go there to feed the fish off the dock where the patio tables are.  She feeds them the bread from our table and sometimes crackers too.  Many minutes of great entertainment.  Happy fish.  Happy girl.

  

But, when trying to decide on my favorite memory from Broadway at the Beach 2016, the decision was easy...

That moment when you wish you could stop time - even if only for a few extra moments.
