Emily has been excited for this show for weeks. She auditioned for a solo during music class and was picked to sing a line in one of the songs. She was also picked for one of the lead roles (an angel) in the drama portion of the show. So today could not have come quickly enough for her.
The show was called Follow the Star and it was about the journey to the manger to find baby Jesus.
It was adorable and the angels narrated the entire thing. The show was great (particularly the 5th grade) and Emily killed it on her solo. She was very proud of her efforts and I still catch her humming her line every once in a while around the house.
Of course, when the show was over, we spent quite a while taking pics of Emily with ALLLL of her friends. Adorable.
