This year we had to trim the tree a little early because we planned to celebrate Christmas with Scott, Karen and Nora when came for Thanksgiving. So, the Sunday before Thanksgiving, up went the tree! We saved most of the house decorations until a little later, but the tree and garland went up so we could open presents around the tree.Emily really loves decorating the trees. She helps from the first ornament to the very last one. Just like me, she likes to hunt for her favorites and hang them first. We also like waiting for Zoey to come play in the tissue paper from the ornaments and then nap under the tree. Tree decorating is one of my favorite nights of the year...even if it was a little early this year.
