This was one of the quietest Thanksgivings I can remember. Between the pandemic and Scott, Karen, Nora and Wesley not coming it was very small (just mom/grandma), very quiet and very uneventful. There was no running around town shopping. No Black Friday, no Target runs, no trips to HomeGoods or Hallmark. We just ate a lot of food and watched Hallmark movies!
Later in the afternoon, we had the chance to Zoom with Scott, Karen, Nora and Wesley. Thanks to the pandemic, they all fully understood Zoom and how to visit virtually. I even put together a short scavenger hunt game for the kids that we played on line. Not quite the same as getting together, but still fun and better than nothing.
