We hurried home from Canaan in time to grab our suitcases and rest a bit before hopping on a plane for Aspen. Daniel went out ahead of us, on Saturday, so we were looking forward to joining him. Unfortunately, this turned out to be quite a challenge. We were delayed out of Charleston and then when we got to Chicago, our flight was cancelled. We ended up having to spend the night in the O'Hare Hilton (sleeping in t-shirts bought in the airport) and try again the next morning. This time we made it!
We had the cutest little ski in/ski out condo right in the heart of Snowmass. It had 2 big bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and plenty of room to spread out.
After we arrived and got settled in, there was still a little time for skiing and then we settled in for the night with dinner at home and some time to relax.
