Sneak Preview of Parc Disneyland

Monday, June 26, 2023 

For the final third of our day, we took our premier pass and headed over for a quick peek of Parc Disneyland.

   

Our first stop was Discoveryland to ride Autopia. This is definitely just like Tomorrowland Speedway and that was fine with me.  So fun!

   

   

   

Next up was Hyperspace Mountain!  We were all looking forward to this one.  It was definitely different than Space Mountain at home.  For starters, they play the Star Wars theme song right as you blast off so that is pretty amazing. Then the inside is a little more space themed than ours at home.  It was definitely fun!

   

   

Continuing with the roller coaster theme, we were off to ride Big Thunder Mountain - which is apparently the most popular ride in Parc Disneyland.  After we rode we could see why.  It is definitely a better coaster than ours at home.  The hills are bigger and the coaster is faster.  It is the wildest ride in the wilderness for sure.  Oh!  But it does lose a star because they do not do the whole "Howdy partners" talk before you ride.

   

   

By this point we were ready for dinner so we pulled out our app to look for dining locations...only to find out that almost everything closed at 7pm!  What???  Basically our only option was Cafe Hyperion which is a lot like Cosmic Ray's Starlite Cafe - more burgers and fries.  Oh well, when you're hungry... It should also be noted that this was not a photo worthy event.

Then for our last ride of the day, we headed over to Phantom Manor.  It is a lot like our Haunted Mansion at home, but a little darker in terms of the storyline (father of bride to be kills the fiancé and daughter is left to roam the halls looking for him).  It is still a fun ride.

   

   

We were pretty tired by this point so we headed back to the Marriott to hopefully finally get into our room...and get some rest! What a full day this was!
