When we woke up this morning we were docked in Nassau. We got up early and headed to breakfast in the special restaurant for suite guests. It turned out not to be anything all that exciting or special, but when we finished breakfast we did get a special escort off the ship to meet our group for the excursion over to The Atlantis. We haven't been to The Atlantis in several years so we were looking forward to going back. The only problem was that it is not nearly as warm in November as it is in the summer so the lazy river was COLD! We did manage to get around two times before we took our little blue bodies back to the lounge chairs. After that we decided to hit the beach for a bit and then get some lunch. After lunch, we landed at the pool near The Cove for a bit...where naps in the sun were the order of the day. It was really relaxing.
Before going back to the boat we took a walk over to Marina Village in hopes of getting some Ben & Jerry's ice cream. But, it was not to be. It was off season so they were closed until evening. We quickly rebounded and got frappuccinos at Starbucks instead.
When we got back to the ship it was almost time to shove off again and that meant it was time for the Hallmark Christmas Ball! We showered and changed pretty fast because before the ball we wanted to go to the Behind the Scenes panel with Tyler Hynes, Nikki DeLoach, Taylor Cole, Wes Brown, Sarah Brown and one of the producers from the movies. It was awesome. I loved hearing all the stories from the movies. Sarah Drew was even wearing her blue suit from her movie "Guiding Emily."
After the panel, it was time for the ball. So off to the pool deck we went. No ballroom for this party, but it was still fun. We had dinner after the ball and then headed to bed. It was another very full and very festive and very fun day. One more full day still to come!
