Daniel Arrives in Colo Spgs!

This morning, Emily went to the Excel national finalist camp.  No pictures, unfortunately.  But she did report that Ashley Cain-Gribble was there from Team USA.  Camp ran until lunch time then Heidi and Emily rested a bit.  Later in the afternoon, I took Heidi back to the rink for a coaches' event.  By the time I headed home Daniel was also on the way and we actually ended up at the same intersection just outside of town.  Once we got home we were off to dinner and then meet up with Heidi for one last practice ice.

   

After practice ice, we took a group field trip to the Milkshake Factory!  I had never heard of this before, but searching "ice cream near me" revealed its location and we were all in!  They had lots of flavors with combinations like chocolate peanut butter, cookies and cream, salted caramel and of course vanilla (Heidi's pick).  We had a great time and by the time we got home that night, most of the sugar had worn off and we headed off to bed for the big day tomorrow!
