Full Day at Magic Kingdom with MNSSHP

Sunday, September 28, 2025

Today we had a whole day at Magic Kingdom.  We had a little bit of a false start out of the gate when we arrived at Gaston's Tavern to get cinnamon rolls and a creme brulee treat, but they were not open yet.  So a quick change of plans lead us to Under the Sea with Ariel and friends.  Luckily, when we got off the ride, Gaston's was open!  At first there were no creme brulee treats, but about half way through the cinnamon roll, we saw someone with one!  And with that, we were back on track with full tummies.  Oh and the creme brulee thing was worth waiting for!

Then we were off to ride rides.  We got to ride the carousel, carousel of progress (for Emily), Tron, Small World, Seven Dwarfs, Pirates, Space Mountain and more.  Unfortunately, Big Thunder and Buzz were both closed!

Later that evening, we came back to the park for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  We decided to prioritize the parade so we got in a quick dinner at Pecos Bill (in the rain) before heading back (in drier weather) out to ride Space Mountain (in complete darkness with Halloween rock tunes) & Tron.

We had to stand for the parade, but it is always worth it and we really only had to wait about a half hour before the parade started.

After the parade ended in Frontierland, we rushed over toward Main Street to try to get in the line for Jack Skellington & Sally.  We only waited about 40 mins and we got it!  And maybe because we were dressed like them, we had a really long visit with fun pics!  It was definitely the highlight of the night for us!  But, this visit overlapped with Emily's Paws on Ice back at home.  We were sad to miss that, but thrilled to see the videos and pics almost in real time while we were in the park.  Technology for the win!
