Big Disney Day - Hollywood Studios, Disney Springs & Epcot

Today we were off to Hollywood Studios.  There really wasn't a great breakfast option at HS so we got breakfast at Contempo Cafe before we left.  Our first ride of the day was Toy Story Mania.  Initially it seemed the perfect choice, but very quickly we realized the line was not moving.  We had time to kill before our first fast pass, but it ended up being the longest line of the trip.  Still, it was fun and we were going to have to stand in line for something anyway, so I guess it worked out.

   

Then we were ready for our first fast pass at Tower of Terror!  I am always surprised that I like this ride as drop towers are usually not my jam.  From there we headed over to Rockin' Roller coaster.  This is probably one of the last times that we will ride this while it is still Aerosmith themed.  It is set to be rethemed around the Muppets soon.

   

I read an article that the Disney Visa character greeting was Olaf at Hollywood Studios.  It has been a while since we have sought one of these out, but it was fun.  It was like having a fast pass.  We walked up and were next!  Olaf spent a lot of time with us which was sweet.

Then we made our way to Star Tours.  Not a favorite, but a perfect ride for time between fast passes, or if you need to kill a little time before a meal.

   

We had lunch at ABC Commissary and then headed out to ride Toy Story Mania one more time and also Slinky Dog.  

Since it was a shorter day at HS, we made a quick stop at Disney Springs.  We haven't been there in a little while so it was fun to see how it has grown.  So many shops and restaurants!  I was able to get a Lilly Pulitzer x Disney collab shirt that I was hoping for and D found some pins.  We also saw some cool Lego displays.

   

   

For dinner, we decided to go back to Epcot again for more of the International Food & Wine Festival.  There were just so many good looking choices we wanted to try them all.  But before we ate, we hopped in line for another ride on Guardians of the Galaxy.  Love this ride!

  

The for dinner we went back to Mexico for the flautas, got the cheese and bacon soup in Canada and more churro sundaes for dessert.  YUM!
