Even though Daniel and Emily had some time at AK yesterday, we all went back today. We started the morning with a trip through Kilimanjaro Safari. I love going when it is cooler out because I feel like we see so many more animals than we do in September.
After the safari, we took a quick peek at the gorillas and then hopped over to see the Lion King Show.
After the show, we hurried over to see the birds. We really love this show and all the beautiful birds.
Since we were in the neighborhood, our next stop was Expedition Everest - a family favorite. Ok so this photo was actually from yesterday when D and E were here, but today they split us into two cars and the pics were not as good. Em and I were in the back row and someone put their hands up over Emily's face.
Then we headed off to Dinosaur for what was probably our last ride. They keep threatening to close this attraction so every time we ride, we think it is probably the last. Guess we'll see.
We had lunch at Pizzafari and then treats back over by Kilimanjaro Safari. We found a great little bakery there during our September visit. Emily got an amazing red velvet cupcake and Daniel and I split a yummy peppermint Mickey cookie sandwich.
Our final stop for this visit was over in Pandora. We used our fast pass for Flight of Passage and also for Navi'i River.
Then, on our way out, we ran into a little holiday menagerie - complete with penguins! They were so cute. The perfect little encounter to end our visit.
