Today was our last day of the cruise and an at sea day, but we had plenty to do. We started the day with a relaxing breakfast and walk around the ship. Then around lunch time we headed up to the pool deck to see A Very Merry Christmas Match with the Hallmark stars.
After the show we got a quick bite of lunch and then headed to the race track to let Daniel try out car racing. I tried too, but I did not like it. I only lasted 2 laps. But Daniel did great and he ran two races, winning the second one.
After racing, we got some lunch and then spent some time relaxing and packing...and sorting through all the amazing stocking stuffers we received. Then it was time for the Ugly Sweater party and show on the pool deck - the last show of the trip. The show was good and we stuck around after it was over in hopes of meeting a few more stars. And we did!
After the show we got to meet Nikki DeLoach, Ashley Wagner and BJ Britt!
On our way to change for dinner, we made a couple of stops for last minute photos. I wish we could have had on our ugly sweaters for the party and show, but it was just too warm. So, we changed into them for dinner after the sun was down and we would be inside.
While we were on this cruise, we got a note in our cabin that we could have dinner in one of the specialty restaurants for free (they usually charge) as part of the perks of having a suite. So, we saved the certificate for tonight and booked a reservation at Cagney's, the steak house. It was definitely the best meal of the trip. Shortly after we got seated, a camera crew arrived and it turned out that they were filming one of the Christmas at Sea storylines at the table next to ours. I had my back to it, but Daniel got to watch the whole thing. At the end, he had to sign a waiver to be included in the shots for the show. That was kind of a cool ending to a very fun cruise.
Bye bye Hallmark stars! Thanks for two amazing cruises and a lifetime of memories! We had a blast!
