Celebrating 10 Years Together - Nemacolin & Falling Rock

I can't leave the posts of our summer fun without properly documenting Dan and I celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.  We had a long weekend get away starting Thursday evening and ending after breakfast Sunday morning.

We started our adventures Thursday evening with dinner at The Caddyshack next to the mini-golf course.  Then we got in 18 holes too before heading in for the night for milk and cookies (served nightly)!

On Friday morning we had big plans!  We wanted to challenge ourselves with a 40 foot ropes course and zip lining!  We had never done anything like it before and it seemed like a fun challenge.  And it was!

 After our adventure, we grabbed a bite of lunch and headed to the pool to relax.  Then we had a fabulous dinner at Aqueous.  Amazing meal!  Best of the trip, I think.   Then we worked off a few (very few) calories with a round of bowling and ski ball!

Saturday morning we booked a safari tour to see all the amazing animals that call Nemacolin home. We saw bears, zebras, lions and even stopped off to feed the animals in the petting zoo!  After our safari fun, it was time for more pool time and more relaxing before heading to another amazing dinner at Autumn.

We wrapped up our perfect weekend with a massive breakfast buffet at the main chateau.  It was truly unlike anything either of us had ever seen.  And it was incredibly yummy.  We ate so much we did not even eat lunch and only had a tiny dinner!  There is no way we are waiting 10 more years to come here!  This was a GREAT long weekend and a great way to celebrate 10 years of marriage.  So fun!  I love you TONS Daniel Miller!!!
