Day Off...Kind Of - Day 5

Wednesday, September 24, 2014

Today was supposed to be our "off" day.  It did not really turn out that way, though.  It all started because our awesome travel agent Natalie found out about an exclusive Frozen Coronation party being thrown by a group of other travel agents.  So she got us tickets and we went...at 8:30am...after partying with villains until well after 11pm...  Needless to say we were all a little tired.  But, a princess's job is hard so off we went to the Royal Coronation breakfast.

We arrived right on time and Emily received a special coronation gift - a tiara, a wand and a sash.  She loved it.  We had a really nice breakfast and then it was time for the coronation.  All the girls stood up, a royal proclamation was read and then they all received a certificate.  It was cute.  Then it was our turn for pictures with Arendell's royalty.  This was basically the only way to get a picture with both princesses at the same time so we were quite pleased.  We were finished about 10:00am or so and then we headed back to the resort for some pool time, arts and crafts, lunch and relaxation.

Fairy House!
After our pool time and nap, we got showered and changed and headed back to Magic Kingdom for dinner at Be Our Guest and 3 more fast passes.  Be Our Guest definitely did not disappoint.  The dining rooms were magnificent and definitely lived up to how I always pictured the Beast's ballroom. The food was great too, especially "the grey stuff."  YUM!  After dinner we even got to meet Beast in his study.  It was definitely a great dinner experience.

After dinner it was time to get our fast passes on!  We had fast passes to meet Anna & Elsa first (so we finally got autographs)!

Then we went to Enchanted Tales with Belle (which Emily had been asking for since we arrived on Saturday, but the lines were always long).  Emily got picked to be the Beast this year and she could not have been happier!  She even got to dance with Belle at the end of the story.  She still talks about it!

After that adventure, we had a fast pass for the little mermaid ride.  Then we had to think a little...well, the line for Space Mountain was short...and Emily did like Everest....so we asked her if she wanted to give it a shot.  And she did!  Her first trip on Space Mountain....and her first ride of what would turn out to be a half dozen or so on this trip!  What a brave little one!  And what a great "day off" we had.
