Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!

Friday was our last full day at Disney World and we definitely made the most of it!  We had a reservation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for Emily at 9:00am which meant we got to get into Magic Kingdom early, before the crowds!  We managed to get a family picture in front of the castle with no one in it and got a couple of super cute shots of Emily too.  Tinker Bell even made an appearance for one of them!

Then it was off to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for Emily's Princess Makeover!  Of course, I think she is a princess everyday, but on this trip she truly got the royal treatment.  She got to choose any princess dress she wanted along with a crown, tiara and wand!  She chose Merida's dress and crown.  Merida did not have a wand, she she picked Aurora's wand (because it was pink).  Then she got to choose a hairdo.  I had seen lots of little girls running around the park with adorable crowns and hair up in buns so I was so excited.  But, Emily had other plans.  She picked to wear long, fake, red Merida hair over her bun.  Oh my...  But it was her day, so we let her have at it.
After they finished her hair, they painted her nails (blue, her choice, ugh).  When the transformation was complete, they presented Princess Merida to the crowd.  It was great.  Emily absolutely loved it.  Then we went for her special photo shoot.
From there, it was off to the rides! She looked a little funny wandering around the park in that heavy dress and long fake hair, but she felt beautiful.   Fortunately, after a few hours we convinced her to take the dress off (since it was soooo hot). When we came back to the room for nap, we also convinced her to let us wash her hair!! It was a big morning at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and I loved every minute. I think Emily did too.
