We were excited to get to go back to Atlantis again this year and enjoy some beach and pool time. This year we left on Friday morning and, after some delays, finally made it to the resort around dinner time. Our rooms were not adjoining this year which was a big disappointment and we were on a very low floor so the views were not as good. But we did have an ocean view and our rooms were just down the hall from each other so it did still work out OK. Grandpa definitely felt better this year and we even planned ahead and got him a little scooter. He got along pretty darn well after he figured out how it all worked.
After we got all settled in, we were off to Marina Village for dinner. First stop - Frankie Gone Bananas. Last year it was called Bimini Road and we ate outside. This year it was hot so we ate inside.
After dinner we made our traditional stop at Ben & Jerry's for ice cream and then we enjoyed a bit of the nightlife in Marina Village and the Royal Tower before turning in for the night.
